Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted meetings with residents and issuing more CPWs. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. This week we held a PACT meeting at Thomas King House. We had a few residents that turned up which was great to see. We covered our priorities for the upcoming month and what we have achieved in the last month. This is a great chance to speak to your local policing team, housing team and raise any issues, or to sit a listen to the work we have conducted in your area. We hope to see more of you there at the next meeting which is now in January 2026. We have been out engaging with your local mosques, where we are looking at carrying out engagement. We are planning a few `CUPPA WITH A COPPA’ sessions at different locations around your neighbourhood. Keep your eyes peeled for these sessions on our website, which will be starting in the new year. These sessions will be a good opportunity for yourselves to come along to, raise any issues or even to have a general chat with a nice cup of tea or coffee. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 4 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: This week we have had 12 stop and searches in your local neighbourhood. These are a great way to disrupt anti-social behaviour in your area. We have issued 4 more CPWs to those causing issues in your neighbourhood. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields.
